Founded in 2025 with a mission to bridge the gap between education and professional careers for students, Brands and Blazers aims to provide students high quality professional development opportunities and attire. Students are able to apply for blazers year round or apply for grants two times a year. Our mission is made possible by a great group of supporters.

Meet the Board of Directors

Tyler K. Schuster, Founder & President

Tyler Schuster is originally from Brackettville, Texas, and is a proud graduate of Tarleton State University and Texas A&M University. She currently serves as Assistant Director of Development at Texas Tech University and is the host of the Basically Famous podcast. Tyler is passionate about advocating for agriculture and empowering students through her social media platforms and podcast.

Tyler Leonard , Vice President

Tyler Leonard is an attorney with Uhl, Fitzsimons, Burton, Wolff & Rangel, PLLC, where she represents landowners across Texas. A native of Del Rio, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and her Juris Doctor from Texas Tech University School of Law. Today, Tyler and her husband, Craig, make their home in Sonora, where they live and ranch alongside their families, staying deeply rooted in the land and communities they serve.

McKenna Zacek Putska, Treasurer

McKenna Zacek Putska is the Banking Center President for Prosperity Bank in her hometown of Edna, TX, where she is also a Commercial and Agricultural Lender. McKenna received her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University in 2016 with minors in Agribusiness Entrepreneurship and Accounting.McKenna, her husband, Clark, and daughter Wren Elizabeth reside in Victoria, TX. Her family also owns and operates a local plumbing supply store and showroom, City Plumbing Supply of Victoria & The Showroom at City Plumbing Supply.

Shelby Schuster, Secretary

Shelby D. Schuster is an organizational development professional and dedicated servant leader with a passion for empowering individuals to thrive in their careers. With a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and a Bachelor’s in Communication from Texas A&M, she brings over a decade of experience in talent development, performance management, and employee engagement. Shelby is a Learning Specialist III at Capital Farm Credit, the largest ag lender in Texas. Her expertise includes managing large-scale training programs, designing leadership pipelines, and leveraging learning technologies to deliver impactful content.

Megan Terry

Megan holds a degree in Wildlife, Sustainability, and Ecosystem Science from Tarleton State University. As Executive Director of Montana GLC, Megan leads the Coalition in carrying out their strategic plan and develops partnerships to further implement conservation on grazing lands in Montana. In addition to her work with MTGLC, Megan also serves as chair-elect for the Society for Range Management GLC committee. Megan, her husband Tyler, and their two sons, Quaid and Hardy, reside in Roundup, MT.

Sadie Schweers

Sadie Schweers is a Strategic Wealth Advisor at Sendero Wealth Management, where she partners with individuals and families to build tailored financial strategies grounded in long-term vision, intentional planning, and trust. With a deep commitment to client education and empowerment, Sadie helps navigate complex financial decisions with clarity and confidence. Outside the office, Sadie is a proud mom of three and married to a sixth-generation farmer—grounding her perspective in both long-term stewardship and deep family roots.

Morgan Davis

Morgan Knight-Davis, originally from South Louisiana, has planted roots in Dublin, TX. A Tarleton State University graduate with a degree in Agriculture & Consumer Resources, Morgan now brings her styling expertise to women across the globe—whether it’s for the ACM Awards, a girls’ weekend, a summer rodeo, or a corporate interview. When she’s not in the office or at an event, Morgan enjoys time at the park with her four-legged companion, working in her yard, hitting the golf course with friends, or jetting off to her next adventure.
